Legal Planning Solutions have taken measures via our COLPS pledge, to ensure that clients alleviate any degree of uncertainty when purchasing any service, LPS promote that your services will always be obtainable in the future.
It is imperative that when choosing a provider of legal services, you have total peace of mind knowing that you and your family are protected in the unlikely event that things should go wrong.
When dealing with other organisations, such as financial institutions, there is relevant protection and regulatory bodies for a client either via the Financial Ombudsman or the Financial Conduct Authority whichever would be relevant, when dealing with Solicitors you have recourse via the Solicitors Compensation Fund.
The independent Legal services market is susceptible and unprotected due to not falling under the governance of any of these regulatory bodies for the public, when purchasing Wills, Trusts, Probate support or any other related services.
The Continuity Of Legal Professional Services (COLPS) protects you in the unlikely event that LPS cease to trade, giving your family peace of mind that estate planning provisions that you have made, will be honored in the future.
What is (COLPS)?
The Continuity Of Legal Professional Services is an agreement between independent legal service providers carefully selected by LPS, who have stringent criteria set out for Legal / Probate Practitioners that conduct any Legal works. These professionals are well established and renowned practitioners across the UK.
This bespoke panel, ensures that you as the client always have continuity of service as set out in the terms of LPS, as well as the additional protection that in the unlikely event that LPS ceases to trade, you are covered by our independent agreement with our selected providers and in-turn will have written notification that your service provider has changed with no deviation of terms.
